It should probably be relegated to philosphy, though I sometimes am a bit intrigued at the idea of "irreducible complexity." Historically, it gains a bit of credibility when compared to the Big Bang: when LeMaitre first started to posit the Big Bang theory, he was pilloried for trying "to bring God in" to a strict science. Nowadays, the Big Bang has wide acceptance by theists and non-theists. Could irreducibly complex structures be part of life? Perhaps. Does that mean there's a God?
